Sphere Skateboard & Surfskate Exchange Program

Trade in any used skateboard complete or surfskate complete in exchange for a limited-period discount voucher valid toward the purchase of any new Sphere complete setup.

Terms & Conditions

  • Eligible Items: Any complete skateboard or complete surfskate (comprising deck, trucks, and wheels), regardless of brand or age.
  • Condition Criteria: Boards submitted must be structural completes (not loose parts or bare cracked decks unless otherwise agreed during evaluation).
  • Discount: ⁠Any old complete setup can be exchanged for a new complete setup.
  1. ⁠Beginner Complete Skateboard – 15% discount
  2. ⁠Pro Complete Skateboard – 20% discount
  3. ⁠Pro Complete Surfskate – 20% discount
  • Applicable Purchases: Discount vouchers issued under this campaign are redeemable exclusively against new Sphere complete setups - skateboards or surfskates. 
  • Single Use: Each traded board entitles the participant to one (1) discount code toward one (1) Sphere complete setup purchase.
  • Non-Transferable: Vouchers/discount codes cannot be redeemed for cash, refunded, or transferred to third parties.
  • The exchange discount cannot be combined with other ongoing promotional codes, site-wide sales, or clearance offers unless explicitly stated.
  • Once a trade-in board is handed over offline or shipped online and the discount code is issued, ownership of the traded board transfers entirely to Sphere / WeSkate Co.
  • All exchanges are final. Under no circumstances can a surrendered board be returned, reclaimed, or requested back after the transaction is completed.
  • Sphere reserves the right to decline trade-ins that do not meet minimum structural safety or authenticity standards.
  • Sphere reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the exchange program or amend these terms at any time with notice posted on official channels.

Exchange Channels & Procedure

Online Exchange Process:

  1. Submission: The participant must record and submit a short video (15–30 seconds) showing the complete condition of their board (top griptape, bottom graphic, trucks, wheels, and nose/tail condition) via [Instagram DM/Website Form].
  2. Verification & Approval: The Sphere team will evaluate the video within 24–48 hours to confirm eligibility and communicate the corresponding discount value.
  3. Handover & Shipping: Upon approval, the participant will send/ship their trade-in board to the designated Sphere hub or hand it over at an authorized drop point.
  4. Voucher Issuance: Once the trade-in board is received and verified, a unique discount code will be issued for use on weskateco.com.

Offline Exchange Process (Events, Jams & Workshops):

  1. Participants can bring their complete skateboard or surfskate directly to designated Sphere workshops, skate jams, or official drop-off locations.
  2. The board will be evaluated on the spot by a Sphere representative, and the discount code or instant store credit will be applied directly to their purchase.
